GRG Away Days offer individuals an opportunity to get away from the scheduled busyness of life with its many distractions that keep our minds preoccupied and our spiritual welling being crying out for attention. This is a chance to lay aside life and its demands for a time of quiet stillness, relaxation, fellowship and intimate encounters with God, the perfect tonic for our souls.
We often go to great lengths to nurture our mind and bodies with vacations, spa days, drinks with friends, weekends away and the like, but how do you maintain and nurture your spiritual wellbeing? What lengths do you go to protect it?
Join as we educate our minds on the topic of a heart of worship and feed our spirits with intimate soaking sessions and the quiet stillness of natures backdrop.
A time to be still, be quiet and be known.
The day is split into two parts.
Pre-lunch is an interactive time of teaching and sharing on The Heart of Worship and its role in spiritual intimacy, it challenges, what it looks like, how to express worship, shut out the noise and more.
There is ALWAYS lots to discuss and share
After lunch attendees get to spend 2 hours making use of the grounds and prayer room spending intimate quality quiet time alone with God expressing a heart of worship.
Many have made the bi-monthly event their regular time away with God, while others come and go at their leisure
