The theme of our last GRG Away Day for 2019 is “Come”
We often speak of taking time out to be alone with God, but what does that mean and why do we do it? Some do it to hear from God as they seek direction, some for answers to prayer and pressing situations. But when Jesus invited us to “come” all He said was “I will give you rest”
What does rest look like to God? The rest God offers us goes beyond the temporary solution of our present situation and is often packaged differently to what we think we need. The rest God offers us far exceeds anything we could think or even ask for ourselves. It is unique to each individual and offers all the answers, respite, guidance and most importantly peace of mind to face everyday life from a supernatural stance.
God invites you to come, will you accept His invitation
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”. Mat 11:28
“Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Isa 55:1
