The Holy Spirit and I will be the theme of September’s GRG Away Day
In 2011 when it was brought to my attention how much I ignore the daily conversations, promptings, and guidance of the Holy Spirit, I was amazed and set to sitting at Gods table as He began to teach me more about this valuable supernatural being that He left on earth to comfort and guide my every step, to bring things back to my remembrance, to lead me in prayer and just be there, all day, everyday, wherever I went. Since then the Holy Spirit has become my twin, I am always speaking to him, always listening out for Him, always in conversation with Him and learning how to laugh, cry and socialise with Him.
Sound extreme? Yep, that’s what I thought until He changed my perception of Him. What is your relationship like with the Holy Spirit? Do you believe that He is an actual supernatural being or do you take Jesus promise to us in the gospel of John to leave us a comforter who would guide us, Paul’s teachings of His fruits and the encounter of the disciples in the upper room with a pinch of salt? Who is the Holy Spirit and how do you interact with Him?
Come and learn aboiut Him as well as take time out to converse with Him on our 3rd GRG Experience Away Day.
We look forward to seeing you
A day centered on uninterrupted intimacy with God, listening, being still and having one’s soul restored, held at The Niland Conference Centre
The GRG Away Day Experience is an opportunity to get a taste of the depth of intimacy with God experienced on the 7-day retreats. It is also an amazing way to purposely set aside time away from the distractions of life to spend time alone with God.
We are always saying we want to spend time with God, yet scarcely finding the time to fit Him in. He deserves better if only because of a fraction of the things He does for us. Omitting the example that Jesus set us when He frequently retired to solitary places to be alone with God prevents us from reaching depths of intimacy with Him as well as missing out on supernatural encounters with Him, it also affects our Christian walk.
If your soul longs to be alone with Him, now is your time to make it happen.
