I was aware Christmas was approaching but had no idea what I would do. Financial struggles meant I was in no position to buy any food. I had no family or friends that I could go to, so I knew I would be on my own. When a good friend of mine, mentioned Jemma and Christmas hamper, I was blown away and said if it is possible that would be appreciated. Jemz I want to thank you for making Christmas 2016 truly special. When I saw the hamper I was so amazed, it was it fully loaded with beautiful food and drinks. Not only did it contain a lovely Christmas dinner but also homemade bread, homemade banana cake, rice and peas, macaroni cheese, chicken, potatoes soup, oh my gosh, I thought I had entered heaven as I enjoyed the beautiful food. The most interesting thing is that I was alone over Christmas, but never felt alone. I felt happy, I did not feel sad. I owe my sincere gratitude and heartfelt thanks to you. It took me a week to start and fully finish all the wonderful components of the wonderful hamper.  You have done something so special, and I will remember this kindness that you have shown me for the rest of my life. My wife got this book and I decided to take a look. I could not put it down. It felt so real and from the heart and I can say it was captivating and I have been inspired as a man to make my getaway. I am making plans to do it as I write. It is a longing to be closer to God. Thanks Jemma for putting pen to paper.

I first thought the book would be centered around the life of the author, mainly her experience, her testimony, but as I began to read, I saw experiences of my own life being described in many of the chapters, I found myself replacing her name with mine! And I broke down many, many times. I battle with letting go and letting God, I battle with surrendering my all to Him, I battle with wanting to know everything that is going to happen in my life, down to the very last detail. I battle with trusting God with EVERY part of my life. My faith needed a shake up. And a shake-up it got! This book changed all of that. It has given me a hope, it has intensified my yearning for the Lord and it has given me practical steps that I have a choice to implement if I truly want to experience an intimate and loving relationship with God. If you are a believer who is struggling, feeling like you are going nowhere, not getting any answers or any clear direction, then read this book. If you have a passed that you need to be freed from, depression, rejection, abuse, failed marriage, divorce, then read this book. If you are wondering what's this Jesus man is all about!! then you NEED to read this book. This book WILL change your life!

This book kept me all night and each page was fascinating and enthralling as I delved into the deeper meaning and secrets of this book. Being a Christian lady and having an intimate relationship with God, I felt connected to Jemma on her Romantic Journey with God. I was deeply encouraged and challenged to trust in God in the face of adversity. In this book, I gained the importance of secluding yourself away from the distracting of society and focusing on the almighty King. Many times we feel as though we need to have the last word with God and leave without getting a response to our prayers. In the book, it is accentuated the value of waiting on God for a response and being patient in that waiting. Gods Romantic Gateway gave a wider perspective of our plans that we make expecting God to agree with them without further consultation with him, then we easily become swayed to the feeling of bitterness and resentment towards God because the will God has for our lives is not the one we would choose for ourselves. The book is inspirational to all people in different stages of Christianity. The writing is clear and flows beautifully that time pass by and the working actives are forgotten. I, therefore, encourage everyone to get this book and read because once read their relationship with God will mature to deeper understanding of Him.

What a story it is! Your book made me realise how important it is to be able to reach out to people and let them know how much you really care and want to be there for them. It encouraged me to continue to work with people who are still wearing a mask and finding it difficult to open up. I plan on using it as a reference in my sessions. The Love relationship you have with the Lord and Lord with you is so amazing, the Comfort it gives you, the peace of mind that you now have and the hope that goes a long side it. So many people long for this type of relationship with the Lord but just do not know where to start; your book is such a great guideline in how to go about it. What impacted me the most was your silent moments with the Lord. I must have read that section over a few times, taking in how important those silent moments meant to you and what you got out of it that really moved me and made me think how I need to continue to have those silent moments. There were so many other areas I could touch on, such as depression and the affects that came with it, the loss of your relationship, eventually being obedient, getting away, leaving your job there is so much in this book I think anyone could read it and benefit from it and be blessed.

Well, this book will take you on a journey without the need for tickets, queuing and crowded trains. God's romantic getaway is one woman's quest for a deeper relationship with God. Jemma Regis teaches us, through her experiences that you can hear God speak amongst the humdrum of modern life. She discloses 2 trips where she spent her time with God, not just lounging around but by being proactive - Marigold gloves and cleaning products? (you'll have to read the book to understand that one!) I am truly encouraged by this book and it has provoked me to look at my own relationship with the Lord. I am going deeper and God's romantic getaway was a catalyst. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who is curious about having a romantic getaway with God.

God's Romantic Gateway is a powerful, moving and mesmerising book which moved me at the very core of my soul. From the very beginning until the end, I found every chapter captivating and I could not put this book down. Why? Jemma's words spoke to me in a pure, undiluted way. I found myself being a part of Jemma's journey. Every joyous moment, painful experience, prayer, and revelation; I shared, I cried, I smiled and I laughed.....Thank you Jemma for being obedient to God thank you for sharing your amazing, inspiring,honest and heartfelt story. I would like to encourage anyone who needs to understand this Christian life, anyone who needs to know God in a 'different' and 'real way'...
